CAMPING PARADISE

I recently went on a camping trip with my mother to Bon Echo park. The park is famous for the massive escarpment which features over 250 pictographs left behind by early Native Americans. It was lovely and peaceful; I definitely needed it.

BOOTS

For around a year now I have been looking for the perfect pair of leather boots but unfortunately you get what you pay for. For my inspiration, I love the shoes that Matt Smith and Karen Gillan wear. Karen Gillan is also a huge fashion inspiration for me. 

Aren't their boots gorgeous! I think I will probably go with black over brown, and definitely laced-up boots. I think I may be down to two pairs from Urban Outfitters; one pair is wayyy more expensive than the other though...

LATELY IN MY LIFE

Some snapshots from my summer so far, it's been amazing! Hopefully the rest of this month will be just as great, school is already starting to creep closer...

NEW IN: ASSORTED

 Hello lovelies! I went shopping yesterday and decided to show you guys what I purchased. I'm hoping to go again next week, so there may be another new-in post before long!

I absolutely adore the embroidered detailing on the collar of this blue sleeveless top. (Forever 21)

I found this simple navy blue sweater on sale at GAP, and while I usually don't shop there I just couldn't resist. It's incredibly soft and I can't wait to wear it. (GAP)

A simple pair of denim capris that are incredibly comfortable. A definite wardrobe necessity. (Smart Set)

Found this lovely top on sale for only $5.00 and decided to snatch it up. You can never have too many summer tops. (Bluenotes)

These shorts are actually more green than this picture shows, and I love them. It's always good to add to your shorts collection. (Smart Set)

This scarf was on sale otherwise I normally wouldn't buy one in the summer. It is however the perfect colours for the season, and I can't wait to wear it! (Smart Set)

BITS & PIECES

A few bits and pieces from my life right now, I'm looking to do a clothing post next. Also I'm currently looking around a few sites to try and find high waisted denim shorts which I have recently become obsessed with.

My John Frieda shampoo and conditioner that I got for my birthday. Not sure if I'll get it again once I run out; I never seem to notice a difference in my hair when it comes to shampoo and conditioner products. Maybe I'm just not using the best stuff! 

One of my lovely friends got me this candle for my birthday in May; it's a soy candle by Illume. It smells amazing! The inscription on the back of the box reads: "a bespoke fragrance infused with essential oils of mandarin, vetiver, vanilla, tobacco leaves and cedarwood blended with our one-hundred-percent natural wax"

The gorgeous frame I purchased with a birthday gift card for Pier 1 Imports. I wish I could buy up everything in that store! 

I am currently obsessed with both of these products; Sun In and FCUK perfume. I use Sun In daily and almost instantly noticed a change in my hair. The perfume has been my favourite for about a year now, and I love that it stays on you for hours when many other perfumes don't.
