I recently went on a camping trip with my mother to Bon Echo park. The park is famous for the massive escarpment which features over 250 pictographs left behind by early Native Americans. It was lovely and peaceful; I definitely needed it.
Hot tea from the kettle over the fire - best way to wake up.
Our cute firepit where we cooked everything.
A map that was well worn by the end of the trip.
The newsletter we were given upon entry.
Perfect place to swim in the morning.
A fresh beach.
Getting a bit more colour after a swim.
We played a lot of games and drank a lot of tea.
Canoeing alongside the cliff while we looked at the drawings.
One of several drawings we found; amazing!
More canoe shots.
The cliff at sunset.
Last breakfast at Bon Echo. (Can you tell we were using up leftovers?)
Till next time! xx
